Mercedes: From Talent Show To No Limit ArmyAfter turning up on releases from Master P and Mia X, Mercedes recently became a full-blown No Limit soldier with the release of her solo album, "Rear End." The rapper will support the effort with a slot on the upcoming No Limit Army tour along with P, Snoop Dogg, Silkk The Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, and C-Murder. While things are rolling in high gear now, there was a time not so long ago (1996 to be exact) when Mercedes was just another student at New Orleans' Xavier University. "I did a talent show and some people heard me and asked me if I would be willing to be featured on some things," she told the MTV Radio Network. "Later that week, they picked me up and took me to the studio and I sung a few bars, and I've been around ever since." She'll be around even more when the No Limit Army tour gets rolling on August 6.
